As Mississippi State tries to pull off an upset, Davis Wade Stadium will be striped out.

The program recently announced the stripe out for Saturday’s game against No. 1 Georgia.

Some Bulldog fans may run into some issues finding November-weather white clothing to wear in their section.

Mississippi State is coming off a 39-33 victory at Auburn last weekend. Mississippi State coach Mike Leach named his Players of the Game on Twitter and lauded the team for the hard-fought win. Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers completed 42 of his 59 passes for 357 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Two of Rogers’ touchdowns were tossed to Rara Thomas, who finished with 6 catches for 84 yards.

“All wins are hard. All SEC wins are hard. Played our best when we needed it most,” Leach wrote. “Proud of the grit we displayed. Hail State!”

Georgia is looking to improve to 10-0. A major reason for the undefeated record is its dominant defense which hasn’t allowed over 22 points in any conference contest this season. Georgia has additionally held opponents to 13 points or less 6 times, plus 2 shutouts against Samford and Vanderbilt.

Georgia holds the edge in the all-time series 19-6, with victories in the last 3 matchups.
