LSU finished off its nonconference schedule on Saturday night against UAB in Baton Rouge. It was also the Tigers’ last home game of the season.

It went very well for Brian Kelly’s SEC West-champion squad, as the Tigers cruised to an impressive 41-10 victory over the outclassed Blazers.

Jayden Daniels was his usual superstar self, throwing for 297 yards and 1 touchdown and adding 111 yards and a score as a runner.

Noah Cain led the rushing attack from a scoring standpoint, going for 76 yards and 3 touchdowns. Here was his first score:

Garrett Nussmeier got some work in relief of Daniels in the fourth quarter, but it was mostly mop-up duty. The LSU defense kept the Blazers stymied all night long and they were never a threat to the Tigers.

So, what’s next for Kelly’s squad as it moves a week closer to a showdown with No. 1 Georgia in Atlanta with an SEC title on the line?

Well, first up is a trip to College Station to take on a 4-7 Aggies team that would love nothing more than to bury the Tigers’ slim College Football Playoff hopes once and for all.

Can LSU avoid an upset against the disappointing, but still dangerous, Aggies? Tune in to ESPN at 7 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday night to find out!
