Tim Tebow’s one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles has no guaranteed money and is worth $660,000 — the league minimum for a three-year veteran — according to contract details obtained by USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday.

Tebow must make the team to be paid in full and if he’s cut before the season, the Eagles only will owe the former Florida Gators quarterback standard stipends. Tebow last played for the New York Jets in 2012 and has thrown 17 carer touchdown passes in 34 games.

He’ll compete with Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez — among others — for a spot on Chip Kelly’s offense.

Tebow signed a two-year, no guaranteed money deal in 2013 with the New England Patriots, but was released on Aug. 31, 2013, the day NFL teams were required to cut their rosters to 53.

Drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 25th overall pick in 2010, Tebow posted several come-from-behind wins during the 2011 season after replacing Kyle Orton as the Broncos’ starter and won a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tebow is currently a college football analyst for the SEC Network.
