If you thought Alabama CB Levi Wallace looked a bit thin during the National Championship Game, you would be right.

Leading up to the game, Wallace couldn’t keep any food down, losing 11 pounds after contracting the flu the week before the big contest.

Now, though, he’s trying to make up for lost time. According to AL.com, Wallace is eating everything he can fit in his stomach to gain weight before the NFL Draft:

“I’m on a 4,000 calorie diet plan,” a smiling Wallace said. “Just eating everything in sight.”

However, due to his responsibilities at the Senior Bowl, he’s had a tough time sticking to his healthy diet of veggies, salmon and other good foods. Instead, he said, he’s calling this week a “cheat week” and eating whatever he can find:

“I’m going to count this as a cheat week,” Wallace joked. “I’m trying to eat as much as I can, but it’s not as technical as it was back there. I’m just trying to put as much food in my body as I can.”

Wallace would still like to put on a bit more weight before the NFL Combine, so he’s in for a few more hefty meals. As long as he can avoid the flu, though, he should be fine.
