Najee Harris has slowly but surely swayed recruiting services recently. Now, he’s the consensus No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2017.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound running back, an Alabama commit out of Antioch, Ca., now holds the top spot in the 247Sports Composite, which combines rankings from all the major recruiting services.

Harris’ rise means five-star linebacker Dylan Moses, who had been at No. 1 since the beginning, is now No. 2. The former LSU commit is also looking at Alabama as well as LSU and others.

However, there’s still a long way to go as 247Sports’ final rankings for the 2017 class will be posted next January.
