Alabama’s wide receiver room has some big shoes to fill in 2021 after the departures of DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle. Crimson Tide fans are excited to see what John Metchie and Slade Bolden will do in larger roles, but it was a newcomer who received notable praise from Nick Saban on Saturday.
When speaking to reporters on Saturday, Saban highlighted Ohio State transfer Jameson Williams.
Saban on WRs: “(Jameson) Williams is a guy that’s really made a big impact in this camp. We’ve been trying to manage (Metchie) through. He’s coming off a couple surgeries. … He made some big plays today. Slade’s doing good, JoJo Earle’s doing good.”
