Alabama’s wide receiver room has some big shoes to fill in 2021 after the departures of DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle. Crimson Tide fans are excited to see what John Metchie and Slade Bolden will do in larger roles, but it was a newcomer who received notable praise from Nick Saban on Saturday.

When speaking to reporters on Saturday, Saban highlighted Ohio State transfer Jameson Williams.

A former 4-star prospect ranked No. 82 overall in the class of 2019, Willaims played in 22 games, including 6 starts, during 2 seasons at Ohio State. He logged 15 catches for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns in his OSU career.
