Alabama DC Pete Golding was arrested on Thursday morning in Northport, Alabama, on a DUI charge.

Now, the Crimson Tide assistant faces a hefty fine and other possible penalties. Alabama has yet to release a statement on the arrest.

On Thursday morning, Golding’s mugshot was released, via the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Department:

Golding has been with Alabama as the school’s defensive coordinator since 2018. He helped guide the Crimson Tide defense to the 2020 national championship.

Prior to his time in Tuscaloosa, he was the defensive coordinator for UTSA in 2016 and 2017. Alabama finished its year by losing the College Football Playoff title game to Georgia. The Tide won the 2021 SEC Championship Game.
