Alabama football kind of speaks for itself, does it not?
The Crimson Tide started its 2024 class with a bang last year, adding 5-star QB Julian Sayin, 5-star WR Perry Thompson and 5-star CB Jaylen Mbakwe. Recently, the Tide have added to an impressive class and even set their sights to the future with the commitment of 2025 5-star WR standout Jaime Ffrench.
But back to the Class of 2024, which currently sits at No. 5 on 247Sports’ team rankings as of July 22, 2023. The Tide recently added 4-star TE Caleb Odom and 4-star CB Zabien Brown to their commit list, too.
Alabama’s only real “weakness” in the class comes along the offensive line. The Tide hold 3 commitments from projected offensive linemen, but only 1 (4-star IOL Casey Poe) ranks within the top 500 overall prospects in the country.
Alabama also does not yet hold a verbal commitment from a projected tackle or RB. Still, this is far from the end of the world for a program with a name such as Alabama.
Here’s a breakdown of Alabama’s class to this point in the offseason:
