Only days after Nick Saban announced he was suspended, a second-year Alabama defensive back has announced his entry into the transfer portal.

Khyree Jackson announced on social media that he’s going into his senior season and is not a graduate transfer.

Jackson did not travel to Ole Miss and was not seen at the Austin Peay game after he appeared in the first 9 games of the season with 1 start.

The Fort Scott Community College transfer totals 7 tackles (6 solo) this season and tallied 14 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 2 pass breakups throughout his college career with Alabama.

Last season, Jackson made 7 tackles and 2 pass breakups during his 12 games of action and was selected as one of the special teams players of the week by the Alabama coaches for his play at Auburn and against Georgia.
