Blake Sims sets Alabama single-season passing record

Blake Sims set the Alabama single-season passing record during the second quarter of the 2014 SEC Championship Game against No. 16 Missouri. Sims found DeAndrew White on a 58-yard touchdown pass to give the Tide a 14-0 lead with 11:48 remaining.

With the pass, Sims recorded 3,109 passing yards for the season, surpassing AJ McCarron’s previous record of 3,063 yards in 2013.
