During Nick Saban’s post-practice press conference Thursday, he said running back Bo Scarbrough, who’s ahead of schedule recovering from an ACL surgery, is suspended for the first four games.
Saban: Scarbrough is a little ahead of schedule. He’s having a non-contact practice.

Saban: I don’t believe he’ll play for the first four games, he’s suspended for the first four games anyway.

Saban on Scarbrough suspension: “It’s a NCAA thing. We have to respect what they say about amateurism.”

Scarbrough tore his ACL during spring practice, and at that time the Crimson Tide were optimistic about his return in 2015.
If you’re looking ahead at Alabama’s schedule, Scarbrough’s first game back could be the Crimson Tide’s fifth game against the Georgia Bulldogs.
A 6-2, 240-pound running back, Scarbrough was a five-star prospect and the No. 2 athlete in the class of 2014, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Nick Saban didn’t elaborate on Scarbrough’s NCAA issue.
