CBS looks back on 20+ years of ‘best seat in the house’ for ‘SEC on CBS’
CBS recalled its time in the SEC as its last time calling the title game happening on Saturday.
It’s hard to imagine a time in the SEC where CBS didn’t have a part in some of its best moments. Peyton Manning, Bo Wallace, Johnny Manziel, and others were in a tribute the network shared on Friday, along with some all-time great moments.
There have been some highs and lows for the conference over the years.
Whether you love them or hate them, Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson will be calling Big Ten games next season thanks to the new media rights deal.
For over 20 years, we’ve had the best seat in the house for the SEC on CBS.

The final “SEC on CBS” game will be a very important one.
Alabama and Georgia meet in Atlanta to compete for the SEC crown. They last played in 2021 with the Crimson Tide taking home the trophy. However, Georgia ended up beating Alabama in the College Football Playoff to win the national title.
The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will be broadcasted on CBS at 4 p.m. ET from Atlanta.
