D.J. Fluker clearly has plenty of football left in him.

The Seahawks recently made the decision to release the former first-round selection out of Alabama in the 2013 NFL Draft but it only took the big offensive lineman a few days to land a new home.

Following Seattle’s decision to release him, Fluker issued the following comment on social media:

“Dear 12s,

“I was released by the Seahawks today. Couple of things: I am not upset, or hurt. This is a business and one that I’ve been in for a while. I want to thank John and Pete for their very thoughtful calls.

“Stay safe, be kind and I love y’all.

“Thank you, Seattle.”

After being on the open market for a few days, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Fluker will be going from one of the NFC’s better teams to one of the best in the AFC for the 2020 NFL season — pending a physical.

Rapoport tweeted on Tuesday: “The Ravens beefed up their O-line with some veteran experience, agreeing to terms with former Seahawks OL DJ Fluker, source said. The deal is pending the physical for the one-time first-round pick.”

That’s an ideal landing spot for the hulking lineman, as his former Crimson Tide teammate Mark Ingram is one of the leaders of the franchise and he’ll be blocking for the reigning NFL MVP, Lamar Jackson next season.
