Jameson Williams scored on a thrilling touchdown for Alabama, a 67-yard pass play that got Alabama on the board on Saturday in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

But a former NFL referee, Terry McAulay, pointed out that the officials in the game missed an illegal blocking penalty against Alabama on the play. “Looks like an illegal chop block on the RB/LG. Any combination high low block is a personal foul and a 15 yard penalty.”

Williams had 4 catches for 112 yards by late in the first half, including 53 yards after catch.

As it stood, Alabama had 5 penalties for 65 yards, while Georgia had 2 penalties for 12 yards.
