Who can beat Alabama?

That’s the biggest question in college football right now, and College GameDay asked the same question Saturday, as the panel tried to find answers.

The Crimson Tide are sitting 9-0 and ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings, and it looks like Nick Saban’s club is primed for another SEC Championship Game appearance against a weak SEC East team.

The biggest remaining challenge for Alabama in the regular season is no doubt Auburn. The Tigers are hot right now, and both programs can run the football and stop the run. The Iron Bowl is shaping up to be a big-time challenge for both teams.

Here’s what the GameDay panel said about which team has the best chance to beat Alabama:

Desmond Howard: “I’ve always said Auburn in the regular season.”
Lee Corso: “Nobody!” But then Corso said Michigan because of its defense.
Kirk Herbstreit: “Louisville or Clemson, no doubt.”

The premier pregame show visited Pac-12 land for the Washington-USC game, and fans brought out several SEC-hate signs.

Looking into the crystal ball, it seems many would love to see a Louisville-Alabama matchup somehow, and QB Lamar Jackson against Alabama’s defense has all the sex appeal.
