Jalen Milroe breaks down incredible final drive, converting 4th and 31 at Iron Bowl

Jalen Milroe had enough time to make a sandwich in the pocket while surveying the field on 4th and 31 at the Iron Bowl last Saturday. Auburn only rushed 2 defenders and he used it to his advantage.
The Alabama QB drifted left, saw Isaiah Bond hovering towards the back corner of the end zone and fired a dart that only Bond could catch. Six points and an ensuing Alabama victory followed.
Instead of suffering a backbreaking loss to kick them out of the CFP, Milroe had converted a seemingly impossible play to lift the Tide over rival Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
On Thursday, Greg McElroy and Cole Cubelic spoke with Milroe and asked him to break down what was going through his mind during and after that play.
“They only rushed 2 guys and all the rest of the guys got to the end zone and did their job. I was just able to put the ball in the right place,” Milroe said.
