While Alabama celebrated its victory over Mississippi State Saturday 49-9, freshman wideout Agiye Hall tweeted out his frustration about not getting enough playing time at the moment for the Tide.

Hall tweeted: “yeah nah, I’m calling it quits.” The tweet, which Hall later took down, concerned a lot of Alabama fans who worried that Hall will enter into the transfer portal and go elsewhere.

But one of Hall’s teammates, wide receiver John Metchie III, wanted to offer his advice to the young wide receiver: Stay the course.

“I guess my words of encouragement would just be, it’s a process and you got to keep going.”

Metchie had to sit behind the likes of first-round draft choices Devonta Smith and Jerry Jeudy before it was his turn this season.

Brian Robinson Jr., who is the leading rusher for the Tide this season, also had to sit behind Pittsburgh Steeler first-rounder Najee Harris.
