When the 2020 NFL Draft takes place later this month, Alabama WR Henry Ruggs III should be one of the first receivers off the board.
So, who does the Alabama speedster remind NFL analyst Greg Cosell of? He joined Mad Dog Sports Radio with Adam Schein on Friday to share his thoughts.
As you can hear in the segment below, he thinks Ruggs’ game is a lot like former St. Louis Rams star (and current Hall of Famer) Isaac Bruce:

“I really like Ruggs because I thought he was a far better route runner than people talk about because he’s so fast,” Cosell said. “I thought he was pretty nuanced as a route runner. Not as nuanced as his teammate, (Jerry) Jeudy. The reason I love watching tape and seeing full games is because sometimes you see a guy run a great route, he doesn’t get the ball, but he runs a great route and beats a quality corner. He ran around Kristian Fulton of LSU and he did not get the ball. Jeudy actually got the ball on that play. Ruggs made Kristian Fulton look silly but no one saw that because he didn’t get the ball. … Stylistically … I thought he reminded me a little of Isaac Bruce. I know he’s a Hall of Famer and I’m not saying he’s Isaac Bruce but just stylistically.”
Round 1 will take place on Thursday, April 23. Ruggs will almost certainly hear his name called on that night. Where will he end up?
