Alabama head coach Nick Saban isn’t concerned about the lack of sacks his team had against Utah State on Saturday.

“They threw the ball and got the ball out so quick, you didn’t have a chance to get a pass rush,” Saban said on Monday during a press conference.

Alabama recorded 57 sacks last season.

The lack of sacks on Saturday didn’t hurt the Tide too much, as they made light work of Utah State in the 55-0 win.

The Tide limited Utah State to just 79 rushing yards and 57 passing yards on Saturday.

While Alabama didn’t record any sacks on Saturday, it did manage 5 tackles for loss. The Crimson Tide also managed to put pressure on Utah State, allowing just 8 catches on 22 passes.

Alabama will look to improve upon the rush defense this Saturday on the road against Texas. The Tide and the Longhorns kickoff at 12 p.m. ET.
