Paul Finebaum has not seen this kind of season from Nick Saban in a long time, and he raised the alarm bells during a segment on ESPN’s “Get Up.”

This came after Alabama’s overtime loss to LSU, which all but eliminated the Crimson Tide from College Football Playoff consideration. Finebaum mentioned that 1 title in the last 5 years is a career for many coaches, but for Saban, the window of his dominance “feels like it’s closing.”

“Maybe there’s a crack in this dynasty, but you can’t claim a dynasty when you have 1 title in the last 5 years,” Finebaum said. “This is the worst coaching job that Nick Saban has done at Alabama in 15 years. Now you compare that with 6 titles, that may not be saying very much, 4 times this season he has been out-coached by the other team, 2 of those were against Texas and Texas A&M, they pulled it out on the final play, 2 times against Tennessee against Josh Heupel, and obviously Saturday against Brian Kelly.”
