In an announcement that is far from a surprise, Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation announced on Wednesday the Aggies’ Oct. 9 matchup against Alabama at Kyle Field has sold out.

In a game that could be the deciding matchup for the SEC West representation in Atlanta at the SEC Championship Game, the Aggies are trying to snap an eight-game winning streak to the Crimson Tide.

Packing Kyle Field is nothing new, as Texas A&M has led the SEC in home attendance for 3 consecutive seasons, and 2 of Kyle Field’s top-5 crowds in stadium history have come against Alabama.

The Aggies matchup with the Crimson Tide drew 106,749 fans in 2019, the second-largest attendance for a game in stadium history. The Oct. 17, 2015 matchup between the two programs saw a crowd of 105,733 in attendance, the fifth-largest in program history.
