Reports: Alabama RB Josh Jacobs absent from practice
Alabama’s leading rusher from the win over Oklahoma was missing from practice Thursday.
According to multiple reports, RB Josh Jacobs was not with the team during the portions of practice open to media viewing. Jacobs is No. 3 on the team in rushing for the season (109 carries, 593 yards) but was the team’s leading rusher against the Sooners, recording 98 yards on 15 carries.
At this time, it is not clear why Jacobs was absent from practice. Nick Saban is expected to speak to the media Saturday.
Alabama takes on Clemson Monday in Santa Clara, Calif. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
