The Louisiana prospect confirmed as much Monday on his Twitter account, which is protected.

The 6-0, 190-pound prospect is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 51 prospect in the country and the No. 5 player in the state of Louisiana, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

Although Carter is listed as an athlete, he’ll play cornerback in college.
