Two former Alabama stars fined by NFL
Former Alabama standouts Ronnie Harrison and Julio Jones have been fined by the NFL for penalties they were assessed during Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season.
Harrison, a safety with the Cleveland Browns, was ejected in the first quarter of his team’s game at Kansas City last Sunday for shoving Chiefs running backs coach Greg Lewis during a brief sideline altercation.
Jones, meanwhile, who plays wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, was flagged for unnecessary roughness after shoving Arizona cornerback Byron Murphy following a play that had been whistled dead.
