It’s no surprise that the NFL media loves talking to Najee Harris. The former Alabama standout is refreshingly candid in his answers, often including amusing details or anecdotes.

During a recent Pittsburgh Steelers media opportunity, Harris was asked about the craziest opposing crowd from his college days. In a uniquely Alabama flex, the former Crimson Tide running back had a hard time recalling a crazy crowd.

“Craziest? Outside of Alabama? I mean, it wouldn’t last long,” Harris said.

That part of the answer drew laughs from the reporters.

“I’m dead-ass serious,” Harris told them.

Harris settled on a trip to Texas A&M as the craziest opposing crowd of his Alabama career. Harris recalled the game as being in his freshman or sophomore year. UA travels to College Station in odd-numbered years, so Harris seems to best remember the 2017 crowd from his freshman season.

Harris’ Steelers open the 2021 NFL season on the road at Buffalo.
