Video: FOX Sports' Clay Travis explains why he thinks Nick Saban is on his way out
Prone to making bold statements, Clay Travis is up to his old tricks again, this time predicting the end is near for Nick Saban at Alabama – of course by his own choosing.
Travis was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd radio show Wednesday and shared his opinion that Saban has planned his eventual exit from Tuscaloosa with an eye toward joining ESPN’s College GameDay show. Travis details his thoughts on the subject in full here:
Is Nick Saban’s time at Alabama coming to an end? @ClayTravis thinks so. #TheHerdhttps://t.co/8ART4aitdM

Considering Lee Corso is likely nearing an end to his time with GameDay, a prime spot will be coming available at some time in the future. There’s no way ESPN turns down Saban if he wants the job, the real question is whether or not Alabama’s head football coach covets the job in the first place.
With all the talent on his roster and his program humming at an all-time high, is it realistic to think Saban has anything on his mind other than winning yet another national championship?
