Recently, the Alabama Crimson Tide got a visit from NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who offered his words of motivation to the team.
Now, the Tide have brought in another champion, in the former of undefeated heavyweight boxing champion Deontay Wilder, who just so happens to be a Tuscaloosa native.
As you can see in the video below, Wilder talks about relying on your teammates to give you strength:

“If you look to your left and look to your right, that’s your teammate — that’s your source, that’s your strength, that’s your backbone,” Wilder said. “Y’all got each other, and it’s a beautiful thing to have each other. Because with each other, with numbers, you’re stronger. You combine yourself, you put your minds together, you think like y’all supposed to think on the team, nobody will stop you. I’m rooting for y’all. … So when y’all knocking people out, I’m knocking them out, too.”
Wilder is perhaps the biggest star in boxing right now, especially in the U.S., and the Tide will love hearing that he is rooting for them.
