WATCH: Former Alabama LB C.J. Mosley makes immediate impact for New York Jets
C.J. Mosley was a key offseason pickup for the New York Jets as he signed a 5-year, $85 million deal after moving from the Baltimore Ravens.
The former Alabama linebacker didn’t waste any time making an impact for his new team as he intercepted the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen on a pass thrown to Cole Beasley, who appeared to bobble it. Mosley collected the ball, and returned it 17 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to open the scoring for the Jets.
Mosley is in his sixth season after he played the previous 5 with the Ravens. He had 70 tackles last season, but his best year for the Ravens came in 2017 when he had 96 tackles and an interception.
Today’s interception was the 10th of his career.
