What Nick Saban said as Alabama cruises past Ole Miss to improve to 5-0

It’s a different verse, but the same song, for Nick Saban against his former assistant coaches.
Some felt that Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss would be the team to finally break what had been a 0-23 mark for former Saban employees against their former boss. Instead, it was Alabama coming away with a 42-21 victory over the Rebels at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.
It’s now 6 in a row for the Crimson Tide against the Rebels as they improve to 5-0. And while it wasn’t the shootout that unfolded between the 2 teams last year, the Tide came out firing as they took a 28-0 lead into the locker room. And Saban will look to make it 25-0 against former assistants — and lead Alabama to a 6-0 mark — as the Tide visit Kyle Field next to take on Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M in College Station.
Here’s what Saban had to say following the win:
Nick Saban was happy overall but unhappy his team didn't finish the game well.
" We knew we were going to need to run the ball in this game. That was part of the plan."

Nick Saban on coaching his defense this week against Ole Miss' aggressive approach: "You've gotta play with the mindset that there's gonna be two third downs."

Saban on why they used the run game as catalyst today: "We wanted to keep the ball away from them" and defensive structure of Ole Miss gave rushing opportunities

"It's not how we've played all year and it's not going to be the style we continue to play."

Coach Saban said that RB Jase McClellan has a knee injury. Said initial reports aren’t good but won’t know for sure until Jase has an MRI. Did say that McClellan will probably be out for awhile @wvua23 @Tide1009

Nick Saban giving the fan base a lot of praise right now. Says they contributed to the win and they should feel really proud of that.
Good job, guys.
