Zabien Brown will play his college football at Alabama.

Brown, a California native, announced that decision on Sunday afternoon. He chose the Crimson Tide over USC and Ohio State.

Here’s his announcement:

Brown is a massive pickup for the Crimson Tide. He’s the No. 61 overall player and the No. 7 cornerback in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 6 player from California.

He attends Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. He’s listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds.

Brown is Alabama’s 3rd commitment of the day. The Tide picked up a pledge from 2024 German-based linebacker Justin Okoronkwo on Sunday. Alabama also earned its first commitment in the class of 2026 from offensive lineman Zykie Helton.

Alabama now has 12 commitments in the class of 2024. The group sits in the top 20 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
