Arkansas added some depth to its quarterback position with a late 2016 commitment from three-star prospect Carson Proctor on Thursday.

The 6-foot-4, 212-pounder from Vero Beach, Fla., announced his decision on Twitter this morning.

Proctor is rated as the No. 59 overall pro-style QB in the class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. ESPN rates him as the No. 28 pocket passer.

ArkansasOnline’s Richard Davenport reported that Proctor, who visited Fayetteville from March 8-10, will likely walk on to the Razorbacks team this fall.
