The recruiting momentum continues for the Razorbacks as Texas defensive lineman Enoch Jackson is the latest prospect to jump in the boat and join Chad Morris’ Arkansas program.

While Morris and his staff are known for their expertise on offense, particularly at quarterback and receiver, any SEC fan could tell you that success and failure in the league comes down to the big men in the trenches. With Jackson joining the fold, the Razorbacks now have pledges from eight linemen for the 2019 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot, 290-pound Mansfield Legacy prospect commits to Arkansas over scholarship offers from Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas Tech and Iowa among others. His commitment gives the Razorbacks 17 overall commitments for the 2019 recruiting cycle, 12 of which have come over the last eight weeks.

Jackson rates as a three-star prospect and the No. 45 defensive tackle in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. During his junior season at Mansfield Legacy, Jackson registered 52 tackles, 19 for loss and six sacks.
