Arkansas senior receiver Dominique Reed followed up his 44-yard touchdown catch against LSU in pretty bad fashion.

He was late for a team workout the next day.

That prompted Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema to have a heart-to-heart with Reed, which Bielema described during a Monday news conference in his typical colorful manner.

“We had a little Jesus meeting yesterday,” Bielema said. “He’s 50-50. Until he decides to buy in, it’s probably gonna be the amount of reps he gets as well.”

A year after pulling in 28 balls for 535 yards and six touchdowns, Reed is sixth on the team with 10 catches for 196 yards and two scores. Unless Bielema’s “Jesus meeting” was a successful, Reed probably won’t have many chances to put up more numbers before the season ends.
