Earlier this week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut ties with K Roberto Aguayo, who was their second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

To help replace the former Florida State kicker, the Bucs are now turning to a former Arkansas kicker.

According to Roy Cummings of FanRag Sports, the Bucs have signed Zach Hocker to compete with veteran Nick Folk for the starting job during the preseason:

Since he was selected by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round of the 2014 Draft, Hocker has kicked for the New Orleans Saints and the then-St. Louis Rams.

In eight career games, he has made 10 of his 14 field-goal attempts (with a long of 51 yards) and 13 of his 14 extra-point tries.
