Arkansas gets a rare game at Kentucky this week and coach Chad Morris said it’s a good thing to see opponents from the SEC East every now and then.

“You like to see opponents from that side but the way the schedule works out…” he said on the SEC coaches media teleconference, “it’s been quite some time… some of these guys don’t recall doing that, it’s up to the schedule but I think you would like to see it more.”

The Kentucky defensive line will pose a challenge for Arkansas.

“I think you better be ready to play with a low pad level…” he said. “That’s their strength defensively, they are big, physical, play with their hands… it’s going to be a battle of the line of scrimmage, which it is every week in the league.”

The Razorbacks are looking for continuity on offense in terms of personnel, something that’s been a challenge this season.

“I think it provides great continuity when you are able to do that, we’ve only had one game where we’ve had our entire wide receivers corps out there with Nick Starkel,” Morris said. “I think it helps us continue to build on what we saw in the Colorado State game. It’s been good this week in practice.”

In terms of injury updates, Morris said Colton Jackson will see how it goes today in practice, and
Jordan Jones will be a wait and see, while Ty Clary will be back, full-go.
