The Razorbacks likely landed their second defensive back commitment of the 2021 recruiting cycle on Thursday as Frisco High School standout Chase Lowery announced his commitment to Sam Pittman’s program. Lowery plays both sides of the ball in high school but projects as a defensive back in college.

The 6-foot, 180 pound Frisco, Texas native is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 81 cornerback in the country for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Lowery commits to Arkansas over scholarship offers from Michigan State, Purdue, Texas Tech and Memphis, among others.

Following this news, Arkansas now holds 13 commitments in the 2021 recruiting cycle.

During his junior season at Frisco High School, Lowery was named 7-5A-II Overall Most Valuable Player after registering 48 tackles, eight pass breakups, four interceptions, one pick-six, 34 receptions for 758 yards and seven touchdowns. He also returned to punts for touchdowns during his junior season.

As you could tell from those numbers, Lowery does a little bit of everything for Frisco High School.
