Fans react to Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson's first half after he started in place of injured Feleipe Franks
Arkansas got some tough news just before kickoff against Mizzou on Saturday, when it was revealed that starting QB Feleipe Franks was going to miss the game with a rib injury.
That meant redshirt freshman KJ Jefferson got the start. And, after a rough first couple of series, he settled in and made some big plays.
Here’s a big 68-yard touchdown pass he had to star WR Treylon Burks to tie the game midway through the second quarter:

How does Arkansas only have 3 wins? KJ Jefferson is the real deal. This is going to be a tough one to win.

I really enjoy KJ Jefferson’s game.
Hogs are really missing Catalon here in the first half. Keep it close and let’s rock in the second half.

KJ Jefferson only threw two passes before today’s game against Missouri. He’s 8-12 with 118 yards and 2 TDs with 3:39 left in the 2Q. We’ve got a shootout in the Battle Line Rivalry. pic.twitter.com/AWK47bbckC

We’ll see if Arkansas and Jefferson can continue to put up big numbers offensively moving forward.
