Former Arkansas baseball player calls out 'embarrassing' behavior from Hogs following loss
As the Arkansas Razorbacks were losing 44-17 at home to North Texas, fans voiced their frustration by booing QB Cole Kelley.
After the game, that led to senior WR Jared Cornelius calling out the fans who were booing.
You can see Cornelius’s impassioned message in the video below:
Jared Cornelius very strong statement on fans booing Cole Kelley in the 2nd half. You can be frustrated with the Hogs but J-Red proves he's a great teammate.

Cornelius coming to his teammate’s defense is understandable, but it apparently rubbed former Arkansas baseball player Trent Daniel the wrong way.
As you can see below, Daniel took to Twitter to blast Cornelius for worrying about the fans when the team is a disaster:
Unreal. You’re worried about the fans? Take some ownership. Have some pride for the Hog. We just watched a game with an offense that looked like they were having their first practice together. The shit is EMBARRASSING. Take some ownership man you’re a SENIOR. https://t.co/vl8rGAJL4h

I can’t bite my tongue anymore. I’m so sick of the victim mentality our society has turned into. I was boo’ed at times when I played at Baum Stadium. Did I bitch about it to the media? NO. I wanted to make sure I never heard it again.

Daniel is clearly frustrated with the Razorbacks, as many Arkansas fans are, and rightfully so. However, what else did he expect Cornelius to say?
