Bret Bielema is a comical guy with a history of funny behavior on and off the field.

There are a number of great pictures of him as the Arkansas coach. While photography is great, gifs sometimes do a better job of revealing personality or just having some fun.

Some of these are quick videos of Bielema reacting. Others have added effects.

Here are the top 10 Bielema gifs at Arkansas.

10. 2015 Texas A&M confusion

It’s hard not to get distracted by the giant scoreboard in AT&T Stadium. Here, we have Bielema being confused by something during Arkansas’ 2015 matchup against Texas A&M. He probably was wondering how the Razorbacks could choke away the game versus the Aggies for the second consecutive year.

Arkansas lost to Texas A&M in overtime in 2014, 2015 and 2017 in very similar circumstances. It’s understandable why Bielema was befuddled in this situation.

9. Clubbin’ with some swag

Bielema does not lack confidence. If you saw him walk up to a country club with his clubs, you’d think he would know his way around the golf course. In this gif, the Iowa native glides with a swagger about him while carrying his golf bag to the tee box.

His approach to the golf course is a lot better than his approach on the golf course — see below.

8. Comfortable in his own skin

This is a man who is comfortable in his own skin. Too often, coaches are afraid to be themselves. Bielema has never shied away from his true nature. That can be good or bad sometimes depending on how you look at it.

7. Taking a dive

Road teams need every advantage they can get when taking on Alabama in Bryant-Denny Stadium. On this play back in 2015 vs. the Crimson Tide, Bielema was trying to break up a scuffle between his players and Cam Robinson. Robinson gave the Arkansas coach a shove and Bielema embellished the act, causing the ref to throw a flag.

Bielema shrieked with excitement after the penalty was called. The old Gordon Bombay from The Mighty Ducks would be proud.

6. A good dad

His daughter, Briella Nichole Bielema, was born in early August. Bielema has had some restless nights in 2017 with a newborn baby and a terrible football team. From a family perspective, it’s feasible to think Bielema would make a good father after molding young men for many years as a football coach.

5. Making ‘Johnny Football’ mad

Anytime “Johnny Football” is angry, the world is a better place. In the first installment of the Southwest Classic back in 2014, the Arkansas coach called a fake punt to perfection. Sam Irwin-Hill would go on to score right before halftime, much to the chagrin of Manziel, a spectator on the Aggies’ sideline.

4. The fidget spinner

According to Macmillan Dictionary, a fidget spinner is “a stress-relieving toy consisting of a bearing in the center of a design made from metal or plastic.”

Unlike many Americans, Bielema is not a fan of the toys that are sweeping many away. Considering all of the work-induced stress he’s suffered in 2017, you would think he would be fond of them.

3. Taking a tumble

The “Hog Walk” is a tradition where Razorbacks coaches and players are greeted by fans on their way Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium before a game. On a wet Saturday afternoon in 2013, coach Bielema suffered an embarrassing moment en route to the field. The Razorbacks would go on to lose to Texas A&M that night 45-33.

2. Nothing going right

This moment of displeasure came after a roughing the passer penalty called on the Razorbacks versus Texas A&M in 2015. Arkansas was upset in Week 2 by Toledo and got clobbered by Texas Tech in Week 3. Losing to the Aggies to start 1-3 was not a great stretch for him.

1. Horns Down

This is one of the craziest moments in his tenure. Before the Texas Bowl in 2014, Bielema took a picture with then Texas coach Charlie Strong. It looked like the Arkansas coach was giving a “horns down” sign. According to Bielema, it was a natural reflex. Arkansas would go on to smash the Longhorns 31-7 in that game.
