Arkansas is currently taking on Auburn in a College World Series elimination game in Omaha. And, at least for now, the Razorbacks are cruising to a blowout win over the Tigers.
After taking a 1-0 lead in the 1st, Arkansas tacked on 3 in the 3rd to open up a 4-0 advantage. Then, in the 4th, Michael Turner’s 2-run double with 2 out brought in Braydon Webb and Peyton Stovall to make it 6-0.
That brought up Chris Lanzilli, who absolutely crushed a John Armstrong pitch 416 feet into the left-field stands—tied with Ole Miss’ Tim Elko for the longest of the CWS thus far—to give the Razorbacks a 8-0 lead. Take a look at the homer, in case you missed it:

Meanwhile, Arkansas hurler Will McEntire has allowed 1 hit through 5 innings and has struck out 9 while walking just 1. Will the Razorbacks continue to roll their way to victory, or can the Tigers get off the mat and capture some come-from-behind magic?
