John Ridgeway III made an immediate impact during his 1 year at Arkansas in 2021.
Ridgeway was a rare player who played 2 full seasons in 2021, as he started the year at Illinois State in the FCS.
Now, he’s taking advantage of his solid 2021 campaign in Fayetteville to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft, announcing the news via Twitter on Thursday afternoon:

In 11 games in 2021, Ridgeway recorded 39 tackles (4 for a loss) and 2 sacks.
With draft departures and transfer portal defections, defensive coordinator Barry Odom will have his hands full rebuilding the Arkansas defense in 2022. Can he and head coach Sam Pittman land enough talent to keep the Hogs’ defense humming along, or will we see some regression in 2022?
