Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman gave an injury update for 2 key players Monday afternoon.

Running back Rocket Sanders will be out in Arkansas’ Week 3 matchup against BYU, Pittman confirmed in a Monday press conference. Sanders suffered a knee injury in Week 1 and Pittman said they will sit him to “get some swelling off of him.”

Sanders had 42 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Razorbacks’ season opener against Western Carolina.

Pittman also gave an update on cornerback Dwight McGlothern, who left Saturday’s game with turf toe. Pittman said that McGlothern will return for the matchup against BYU on Saturday.

McGlothern logged on tackle in Saturday’s game against Kent State.

The Razorbacks are looking for a 3rd-straight 3-0 start on Saturday, but they will face their first test of the season against the Cougars at home. BYU is also off to a 2-0 start and coming off a dominant win over Southern Utah.

The game on Saturday will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET.
