Kodi Burns has reportedly found a new coaching gig.

According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, UCF is expected to hire Kodi Burns as the program’s new wide receivers coach. New Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin opted to not retain Burns, hiring former Troy assistant Cornelius Williams.

A member of Auburn’s 2010 BCS National Championship squad, Burns has been in coaching since 2012 as a graduate assistant at Arkansas State under Gus Malzahn. Burns followed Malzahn to Auburn in 2013, serving again as a graduate assistant. He left Auburn to become the Samford running backs in 2014.

After stops at Middle Tennessee and Arizona State, Burns returned to Auburn in 2016 as wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator. Burns added the title of passing game coordinator in 2019.
