Former Auburn QB Nick Marshall has since switched to defensive back for his professional career — one that has taken him north of the border.

He has been with the Saskatchewan Roughriders since 2018, and now it seems that will continue to be the case.

The Roughriders announced via Twitter that they’d signed Marshall to a one-year extension, which will run through the 2020 season, as you can see below:

Marshall has 65 total tackles, an incredible 8 interceptions and 3 touchdowns through 2 seasons with the Roughriders.

What will he do in 2020? The Roughriders will count on him to once again be a big part of their secondary.
