What Gus Malzahn said after Auburn’s win over Georgia Southern

The Auburn Tigers started the 2017 season by defeating Georgia Southern Saturday night.
QB Jarrett Stidham made his debut for the Tigers in the 41-7 victory. Stidham threw for 185 yards and two TDs, but the night was all about the defense holding the Eagles to 78 total yards and seven points.
The Tigers’ offense also rolled up 535 total yards, with 351 of that rushing. When Malzahn’s offense is eating up yards on the ground, it’s tough to beat. Now, with a QB that possesses a big down-field threat, look out.
With Clemson looming on the schedule, it will be a big week of preparation for Malzahn’s troops.
Here’s what Gus Malzahn had to say after the game:
Malzahn: "Tre Williams is a guy who's raised his level. He was fierce out there"
