Gus Malzahn said Monday that Auburn defensive back Jeremiah Dinson will miss the rest of the season after suffering a gruesome leg injury during Saturday’s game against Texas A&M.
Dinson was carted off the field after being blocked to the turf at full speed by Aggies wideout Ricky Seals-Jones while in pursuit of Kyler Murray. Dinson never saw Seals-Jones who delivered a vicious blow.
Seals-Jones was called for targeting on the play, but the ruling was overturned after review.
