Dobson spent one season at Georgia. He came to the Bulldogs from in-state rival Georgia Tech.
He was hired as co-head coach because the coach hired in Athens had no prior coaching experience. The team finished with a 2-4-2 record.
In the abbreviate postwar 1918 season, he coached South Carolina and led the Gamecocks to an overall record of 2-1-1.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
