It’s a rough day for the college football Bowl Season, as 2 more games were canceled Sunday morning.
According to reports, the Fenway Bowl and the Military Bowl have each been canceled due to teams’ COVID-19 issues.
The Fenway Bowl’s cancelation was made official after reports that Virginia and SMU had not traveled to Boston for the game scheduled for Wednesday in Fenway Park. Virginia delayed its trip twice due to COVID-19 issues.

ECU and Boston College were scheduled to play in Annapolis for the Military Bowl. Boston College’s COVID-19 issues reportedly led to the cancelation. With transfers, injuries and opt-outs added to the absences, the team was potentially down 42 players.

Earlier this week, COVID-19 cases led to Texas A&M being replaced in the Gator Bowl and Hawaii pulling out of the Hawaii Bowl at the last minute.
