Cedric Baxter Jr., elite 4-star 2023 RB, shares plans for upcoming commitment

Cedric Baxter, a 4-star prospect from Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla., will announce his verbal commitment on Wednesday.
This Wednesday August 10th I will announcing my commitment at Edgewater High School in the auditorium. Everyone is more than welcomed as it is open invite. Doors are opening at at 6:30 pm and everything will get started at exactly 7:00 pm. Be there!!

Baxter will be choosing from Florida, Texas A&M, Miami and Texas. Currently, the Longhorns are the predicted favorite on 247Sports.com
He is listed at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds and ranked as the fourth-best running back and 48th prospect overall in the class of 2023 by the 247Sports composite rankings.
Baxter rushed for 1,718 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior. He made a verbal commitment to Florida State on July 29, 2020, but backed away from that pledge on April 15, 2021.
The scouting report from 247Sports Andrew Ivins describes Baxter as “a potential workhorse or feature back…Produced right away as a junior averaging just over 8.5 yards per carry while facing stiff competition week in and week out.”
