The college football rankings AP Top 25 will be released after Labor Day this week due to Clemson and Georgia Tech playing on Monday.

However, ESPN updated its top 25 after Saturday’s action. The Alabama Crimson Tide remained at No. 1 after torching Utah State 55-0, and Georgia is in the No. 2 spot this week after hammering Oregon 49-3. Ohio State is ranked at No. 3 after beating Notre Dame 21-10, and Clemson is ranked No. 4 ahead of its ACC bout against Georgia Tech.

The SEC flexed with 9 teams in the top 25. In fact, the SEC is 14-0 on the season — Vanderbilt has played twice. LSU is the only SEC team that hasn’t played, and the Tigers will take on the FSU Seminoles Sunday night at 7:30 p.m.

Arkansas is ranked just outside of the top 25 at No. 26, and Auburn is right behind the Hogs at No. 27.
